Biography

Alexis Carambot-Medina is a land development and civil engineering professional with extensive experience guiding complex projects from initial concept through entitlement, permitting, and construction. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of engineering, planning, and development, helping transform ideas into successful communities while navigating the technical, regulatory, and stakeholder challenges that accompany growth and development.

Known for her strategic mindset, problem-solving ability, and results-driven approach, Alexis has developed expertise in project management, regulatory approvals, due diligence, and development strategy. Her background combines technical engineering knowledge with business leadership skills gained through her MBA, allowing her to effectively balance project execution with broader business objectives. In her current role as a Land Development Project Manager, Alexis oversees the full development lifecycle, coordinating with consultants, municipalities, contractors, and development partners to move projects efficiently from entitlement through construction.

Alexis grew up outside of Trenton, New Jersey, and graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering. After beginning her career in Northern Virginia, she relocated to North Carolina in 2019 and has since built her career within the Triangle’s growing development community. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children—a daughter and twin boys—and exploring all that North Carolina has to offer.
