Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Jay received his B.A. in History with a Minor in Leadership and Public Policy from Hampden-Sydney College in 2023. At Hampden-Sydney, Jay was a Wilson Center for Leadership in the Public Interest Fellow, College Activities Council Representative, and a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity.

Previously, Jay worked as an Assistant Dean at Hampden-Sydney College following his graduation in 2023 and later as a Client Services Associate at Jamestowne Investments, LLC. in Williamsburg, Virginia. Jay enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and spending time with friends and family.
