One of three US cities on the list, Raleigh/Durham ranked #1 on Forbes' 10 Up and Coming Cities for Entrepreneurs and Triangle entrepreneurs couldn't be happier.

Patrick Hall, the entrepreneurial contributor for Forbes', states is about why Raleigh/Durham was ranked: Founded almost five decades ago, the Research Triangle Park has become one of the biggest success stories for public-private partnerships. Over 170 global companies have set up shop in the Park which benefits from a highly-skilled workforce provided by Duke University and the University of North Carolina system.

Dallas & Richmond Make the Cut

Although Triangle entrepreneurs are most likely very happy right where they are, the other two US cities to make the list are Dallas and Richmond. Cities overseas include Singapore, Banglalore, Sao Paulo, Kiev, Moscow, Santiago and Sydney.
